This particular tune was NOT on the movies soundtrack but it was used in an Old Heidleman commercial. They played this tune while characters were driving through road blocks.

You're lucky day!! It is not on the soundtrack as you know, but you can find it on Vangelis' "Opera Sauvage" an album recorded 4 yrs before the movie.
Go to Amazon or someplace and play through the 6 tracks -- I forgot the name of the track.
It has the complete piece, like where Mel %26amp; Weaver leave the party after curfew and break through the roadblock -- If that's the one, then you'll be very happy :-)
